Hellllllo from the U.S.A.

Just a quick note to say I'm here!
We've had a whirlwind week in New York. And are now seeing the sights of Washington D.C.


I've been able to tick one key thing off my bucket list...
Squirrels at the Capitol Building!!
Squirrels in Central Park N.Y.

 So stayed tuned for when I return to Kangarooland for tales of my adventures!

    ...and as I was first reading this post, a RED SQUIRREL was dashing about the porch! - I might have to call THAT one "THE-FLASH"! - Meanwhile, a BLACK one was rummaging about below...

    oh! BTW, I forgot to tell you last week... We had a young [cat-size] RACCOON on the porch one evening! - I peeped out the screen-window to see the thing no more than 2 feet away! And, staring AT me like how-dare-I-disturb-HIS-dining! -- I thought of YOU! ;->

    Anyhoo, hope everything is going well. Have you had a chance to checkout that yarn store in D.C.? I think they're having a big sale this weekend.
